About Dale Christian School
Dale Christian School is an outreach activity of the Armadale Congregational Church and is affiliated with Christian Schools Australia, a network of Christian Schools throughout Australia that actively promote Christ-centred education. The School is managed on a day-to-day basis by the Principal, who is responsible to a duly elected Board. The Board is responsible to the Church.
Dale Christian School offers more than just a good education. We do our very best to instruct your child so they have a balanced, positive and healthy outlook on life. This means they will be well equipped to face the challenges of a rapidly changing world. We aim to develop each child's spiritual, physical and mental gifts.
History
Dale Christian School opened in July 1983, utilising the hall and Manse of the old Armadale Congregational Church with two classes totalling 21 students. The school rapidly outgrew the original site and in late 1985 the Church purchased the former Dale Drive-In located on Forrest Road. 2002 saw the commencement of Dale's Middle School with 38 students for year 7 and 8. 2005 saw the commencement of Year 11 Vocation Education School Based Traineeships and then moving into Year 12 in 2006, continuing with the School Based Traineeships. The Dale Christian School Board believe that God's grace and love has built the school to all that it is today and look forward to what God has planned for it in the future.
